My Name is Christy Watts, I am a 31 years old graduate of the University of North Georgia. I graduated August 2014 with a B.S. in Art Marketing. I was born and raised in Georgia and graduated from Lakeview Academy in Gainesville. I returned to college after a 6 year sabbatical to finish the degree I started so many years ago. Life threw me some very unexpected curve balls in those years, but I am proof that if you never give up on a dream success can be yours. I have an 9 year old daughter named Morgan that provides all the motivation I need for a lifetime of success. I truly love all mediums the art world has to offer and look forward to expanding my knowledge as well as skill levels in the future. Most recently I have been focused on expanding my knowledge of Graphic Design, Painting, Drawing and Sculpture. I have also begun branching out within my artworks themes. I pushed the limits of my artwork during my Senior Capstone Exhibition. I reached beyond my norm to explore more controversial and gruesome themes. But it’s my opinion that art is supposed to have an impact on people even if the topic isn't always pretty.
